Your First Visit
During your initial visit to Long Island Dental Excellence, we’ll conduct a comprehensive dental exam and take X-rays. We’ll also review your medical and dental history, address any immediate concerns, and develop a personalized treatment plan to maintain your oral health.
We see your first appointment as the beginning of a long-term relationship, so we will take the time to get to know you, answer your questions, and provide all the dental resources you may need.
Please bring the following to your first appointment:
- Previous dental X-rays (your former dentist can send them to us upon request)
- A valid ID
- A list of current medications
- Information on your health concerns, issues, and past surgeries
- Your dental insurance card (if applicable)

Insurance and Financing
Oral health is essential to having great overall health, so we believe everyone should be to afford outstanding dental care. We try to eliminate any financial obstacles that we can so we can provide dental services to as many patients as possible. Our team is not in-network with any dental insurance providers, but we do submit claims on your behalf and help you maximize your benefits. Your insurance may reimburse you directly. We also have two in-house membership plans to help those without insurance, and financing options through Cherry and CareCredit.
